Terms and conditions
Stud Fees
Stud fees as printed above. The free return applies to the same mare the following year. The semen shall only be inseminated
into the mare detailed on this form any excess semen should be disposed of. Any other arrangements are made at the discretion
of the stud. A £100 Booking fee is required to secure a nomination. The booking fee will be deducted from the stud fee and
is non-refundable unless a veterinary certificate is supplied stating a veterinary reason for the nomination not to be taken.
Collection fees are deemed £90.00 if collected in person and £120.00 delivered.
Ordering of Semen
Full co-operation between the mare owner, the Stud & the Veterinary Surgeon carrying out the A.I. is essential. It
is important that the Stud is kept informed of the mare’s progress & is informed as soon as the mare comes into
season, under normal circumstances semen ordered by 9.30am will be delivered by Royal Mail by 9am the next day and 12 noon
on Saturday but excluding Sunday & Monday deliveries. However due to some mid-week shows on certain dates an earlier order
time may be necessary, therefore it is essential the stud is informed before the mare is injected into season.
Transport & availability of Semen
Unless collection is being arranged by you, semen will be sent by overnight delivery. The cost of this service for delivery
Tuesday to Friday is included in the collection & delivery fee, It should be noted that there is no delivery by overnight
companies Sunday or Monday. Same day delivery can be arranged for these days & for bank holidays by courier. Prices for
this service are quoted on an individual basis. Semen can be collected from the stud, in these circumstances there will still
be a collection and processing but no delivery charge. It is the responsibility of the mare owner to return the container
by recorded delivery within this time.
We accept no responsibility whatsoever for delays or the non-delivery of semen due to unforeseen circumstances beyond
our control.
Payment of fees
The stud fee and delivery fee must be paid and cleared in full before semen can be despatched. The relevant delivery
and collection fee must be paid with the stud
Live Foal Guarantee
For all mares, any foal not living for 24 hours, the stud will give you a free return the same year.
Service certificates
Service certificates will be issued at the end of the stud season, and will be sent out recorded delivery. Service certificates
will only be issued on receipt of a positive pregnancy diagnosis form from your vet. Service certificates will be withheld
until any outstanding accounts are settled. If lost or damaged duplicate service certificates can be issued at a cost of £25.

Mr G P Townshend Sort code 09-01-29, Account No. 48631312 or by cheque, please allow 5 working days for cheques to clear.
Cheques will not be accepted as final payment on the day the semen is leaving the Stud. There will be a £50 charge for any
returned cheques for stud fees.
